TATTOOIST  //  ILLUSTRATOR  //  MUSICIAN   

I grew up in Boulder, Colorado, where I developed an interest in animals and visual art from a very early age, no doubt due to the proximity of the beautiful Rocky Mountain wilderness. I attended the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated with a BFA in Illustration in 2012. During school I experimented with animation, printmaking and woodburning. Several years after moving back to Colorado I began tattooing and it has since become my primary form of art. I currently work out of my private tattoo studio, Kestrel Studios, in Littleton. In addition to visual art, I play guitar and sing in a band called Tyto Alba (the latin name of barn owls).
